TROPICAL BIRDS
The tropics have thousands of bird species including the most exotic, the most colorful and arguably, the most beautiful birds in the world. Their names, macaw, aracari, hornbill, ibis, caracara, flamingo, spoonbill, chachalaca, hamerkop, jacana, anhinga, lapwing, oropendola, tanager and gallinule fill my head with visions of brightly colored feathers and crazily shaped bird bills. My passion for photographing tropical birds has led me across Costa Rica, into the Peruvian Amazon, the Brazilian Pantanal, the Rift Valley in Kenya, and Southern Florida. The trips have provided me with one lifetime adventure after another and I'm looking forward to the next one.
